Henri Gouges, Nuits Saint Georges Pruliers other_regions_italy potpourri and olive are sharpened Vintage:1978 potpourri and olive are sharpened by a smoky mineral flourish I very much like the depth and while not quite as structured as the Clos de Vougeot this will require an extended snooze in a cool cellar to realize its full A more deeply pitched and brooding nose only grudgingly reveals its aromas of cassis plum liqueur and pungent earth where the latter is also found on the vibrant and well detailed big bodied and tautly muscular flavors that deliver excellent depth and persistence but it should have no trouble amply repaying 12 to 15 years of bottle aging
