Henri Boillot, Latricieres Chambertin Size:3x1.5L the 2008 The Laird is Vintage:1978 the 2008 The Laird is a little restrained to begin I underestimated this from cask as there is excellent purity of expression on the nose with a floral red fruit quality followed by remarkably detailed flavors of solid intensity if not necessarily great density with a purity and length that are impressive The finer and almost delicate middle weight flavors possess even more minerality on the lingering This is a Latricières of lace and grace yet the supporting tannins are fine but dense and should have no trouble seeing this through an extended aging curve
